Sarongs

Dry clean only is the safe call. If you must wash at home: hand wash cold, no soak, mild detergent, no bleach. Lay flat in shade to dry. Cool iron only.

Block print pieces

First wash separately in cold water. The natural dyes may bleed slightly the first time, and strong colored items may require 3 or more washes to remove excess dye. Use a mild detergent, no bleach. Hand wash or gentle cycle, don't soak. Air dry inside-out and away from strong light. Iron on reverse, low heat.

You may notice some imperfections in block printed pieces. It's a natural part of the process. We love them.

Embroidered or appliqué pieces

Dry clean only is the safe call. If you must wash at home: hand wash cold, inside out, gentle cycle. No bleach. Iron from the back side only.

General

Less is more. Wash only when needed. Skip the dryer when you can. Store folded, away from direct sunlight.
